Dom DeCicco was named to the 2010 Jim Thorpe Award watch list. Each year, the award is given to the nation's top defensive back. Last year, DeCicco started all 13 games at strong safety for the Panthers and was named to the Big East's Second Team. He had 88 tackles, three interceptions, and a forced fumble.
Eric Berry of the Tennessee Vols won the award last season and other past winners have included Deion Sanders, Charles Woodson, and Roy Williams.
