Pitt punter/kicker Dan Hutchins was named the conference's Special Teams Player of the Week for the second time this season. Hutchins leads the Big East in both punting and scoring among kickers.
Hutchins scored nine points this week and also averaged 50.0 yards per punt in Pitt's 45-14 win at Syracuse in its first conference game of the season. Tino Sunseri was also named to the Big East's conference Honor Roll for his performance.
