Small note in that Pitt has had its second player in a row on the Big East weekly honor roll. Last week it was Gary McGhee, this time it was Nasir Robinson's turn.

Nas was named to the honor roll after he  averaged 14.5 points and 7.5 rebounds per game in Pitt's wins over Syracuse and DePaul last week. That included a 21-point 7-rebound effort against the Cuse.

Austin Freeman of Georgetown was named the player of the week after he scored 28 points in a game against Seton Hall.
