Liberty Bowl Will Take A Big East Team
W/SEC unable to fill all bowl slots, Liberty will take Big East team instead of SEC & St. Pete may have to take Sun Belt instead of Big East

According to CBS' Brett McMurphy, the Liberty Bowl will now take a Big East team since the SEC is unable to fill all of its bowl slots. If Pitt beats Syracuse on Saturday to become bowl eligible, this looks like a very possible destination for the Panthers. If Pitt were selected, the game is played on December 31 in Memphis against a Conference USA opponent. All things considered, this wouldn't be a horrible way to end the season.
