The easy thing to do would be give up on conference power rankings voting with Pitt now officially irrelevant for the 2011 season. But I'm a trooper, so I'll still carry on.

After Pitt's loss to West Virginia in the Backyard Brawl, the Panthers remained stuck firmly in the middle of the power rankings. See Cardiac Hill's ballot after the jump.

1. West Virginia
2. Cincinnati
3. Louisville
4. Rutgers
5. Pittsburgh
6. UConn
7. South Florida
8. Syracuse

My ballot was the same as the cumulative results for the conference so a lot of us see things the same way. There's a slight power struggle at the top with a few votes for Louisville as the top team. No argument at the bottom, though, as every voting conference blogger has South Florida and Syracuse in the No. 7 and No. 8 spots respectively.

Head over to The UConn Blog to see the total results as well as the individual ballots.
