After two road wins this past week, Pitt's Brad Wanamaker was honored by the conference, making the weekly Big East Honor Roll for his play.
Wanamaker picked up his game a bit in Ashton Gibbs' absence over Pitt's last two games more than any other player. In games against West Virginia and Villanova, he averaged 16 points on nearly 50% shooting from the field, 6.5 rebonds, and 1.5 steals per contest.
After averaging 25.5 points per game last week, St. John's Dwight Hardy took home conference player of the week honors. He also had a career-high 33 points against UConn.
