I typically don't promote Panther Club events here, but head football coach Todd Graham is scheduled to attend a banquet for the Mon Valley club this Wednesday.
He'll be the main attraction - so much so that they set the date according to his calendar:
Graham will be one of the featured guests at the Mon Valley Panther Club's 30th annual banquet set for May 18 at the Willow Room.
Graham will highlight a bevy of coaches and other Pitt representatives who will attend the affair.
"The reason why we are having the banquet that night is because it was the only night coach Graham was available to attend and we definitely wanted him to be there," said John Zunic, vice president of the Mon Valley Panther Club. "Usually, our banquet is in April."
Steve Pederson and women's basketball coach Agnes Berenato will also be there along with several other Pitt coaches and representatives (no Jamie Dixon). See the link for information on attending - it's only $30, so probably worth it if you have the energy or the interest to attend...I do not.
