Yes, we've sunk to the extreme low of video game simulations - God help us (Photo by Tom Pennington/Getty Images for EA Sports)

Our friends over at Big East Coast Bias went ahead and simulated both the 2011 and 2012 football seasons on EA Sports' NCAA '12 video game (yes, I know, football season can't get here soon enough...bear with me).

They started off with 2011 and Pitt finished in a three-way tie for second with Cincinnati, Syracuse, and South Florida for a 7-5 season. West Virginia won the Big East with a 10-2 record.

2012 was even more disgusting for Pitt as they came in next to freakin' last in the league at 6-6. New conference member TCU finished their first season in the Big East in first place with an 11-1 record and a perfect 8-0 in conference.

Want real humor? The game also predicted Rick Neuheisel would be Pitt's offensive coordinator in 2012.

So much for the offensive genius of Todd Graham. Guess we don't need to play the seasons anymore, right?
