Team USA won again at the World University Games, but the competition's getting stiffer. After trailing at halftime by two, the Americans ended the game with a ten-point win, beating Israel 94-84. The game was by far the closest they've played in the tournament. The U.S. had won each of their previous four games by more than 40 points.

Pitt guard Ashton Gibbs didn't start in the game, but he still managed to lead the team in minutes with 22. He chipped in with eight points and hit two of three three-pointers.

Next up, Team USA gets the Lithuanians, who are 4-1, on Saturday. The Americans are now in the medal round of the tournament.

Alabama's senior forward JaMychal Green is starting to heat up and has now led the team in scoring over the past two games. He's averaging 13 points per game in less than 15 minutes of action per contest.
