Around SBN: Despite Relocation Drama, Coyotes Overcome Adversity

In a radio interview with 93.7 The Fan, Birch talks about why he left, Jamie Dixon, and the players. It's certainly interesting to listen to and sheds a bit of light as to why the team is struggling.

Im sorry, but this kid is the biggest lil’ b*tch that Ive ever heard speak.

I am even more pissed off now, I wish him absolutely no luck whatsoever.

He has no regrets in wasting a scholarship on the school year?

No regrets in further dividing the locker room?

No regrets in making Jamie Dixon look like a difficult coach to work with?

No regrets in calling out his former teammates on 93.7 The Fan?

No one is perfect and I make mistakes every day, but this kid is a microcosm of a vast majority of NCAA athletes and it makes me sick.

POS.

Maybe a bit of homerism

But I just can’t see that the players were jealous or felt threatened by Birch because of his All-American status. I mean, I never heard Dante say anything like that when he came in. And if we’re judging off of games, John Johnson, not an All-American, has looked much better than Birch.

To those who are criticizing Birch: The team hasn’t won since he left. Do you get that?
What do you think is wrong with this team other than boring coaching, untalented prima donnas, and me, me me? Birch knew the score and had the chance to get out. Good for him.

This team

Does not have ‘boring coaching’ and ‘untalented prima donnas’ : Bandwagon-critic’s such as yourself and the Mule that pulls it (Khem Birch in this instance) are the one’s that create such taglines and stereotypes; Do you get that?

not sure how you see it..

but when a player leaves in the middle of the season, i look at him as the selfish one. left teammates out to dry.

Birch

I don’t have a problem with Birch deciding Pitt wasn’t for him. The problem I have, though, is that he left Pitt in a bad spot and let down his teammates. I’m sorry, but I can’t find any reasonable explanation that justifies him leaving in the middle of the season … after ten games, no less.

Want to leave? Fine. But I think he should have at least finished the season out. There’s nothing he would have missed out on had he been a good little trooper and stayed on the team for the rest of the season.
