Pitt vs. Temple: Schedule, TV, gameday vitals

Eric Hartline-US PRESSWIRE

Pitt leaves one must-win situation and heads into another this weekend against Temple. Can Pitt lose this game and still get to a bowl game? Technically, yes. But with three road games left, including one against Notre Dame, the Panthers would be hard-pressed to do so. Pitt really needs to come up with a win against the Owls if they're going to get to the postseason.

The Panthers should have a good chance to win this one, but I don't expect Temple to lay down for them. The Owls have Big East wins over South Florida and UConn while leading Rutgers 10-0 at halftime of their game this past weekend at home.

2012 records: Pitt (3-4) - Temple (3-3)

Date: Saturday, October 27

Time: 12:00 p.m.

Place: Heinz Field

TV: Big East Network (Locally, WTAE-ABC)

All-time series: Pitt leads the series, 27-7 (with one tie)

Winning streak: Pitt has the last six games
