Pitt vs. Oakland: Open Gamethread

Loading Scores

Pitt's off to a great start this season so far. Not only have they won all three games, but they've done so comfortably. Next week, the level in competition ramps up significantly as the Panthers will square off against Michigan. For now, though, there are more games to be won - and this one against Oakland should be a fairly easy one.

The Golden Grizzlies are 1-2 having dropped contests to Boise State and Louisiana-Lafayette. Looking for a reason to be concerned? Oakland has some firepower with Duke Mondy and Travis Bader - the duo combines for 38 points a game. The team also averages 85 points per contest (good for 41st in the nation) and shoots extremely well, hitting more than 50% of their shots.

Still, though - they've not seen a team like the Panthers yet and it's hard to predict they can hang with Pitt on the road.
