Pitt vs. UConn: TV, schedule, game week information

Pitt has little time to lick their wounds from the Notre Dame game as they take on Connecticut on Friday night. If Pitt's going to a bowl game this season, this is really as close as it comes to being a must-win game without being a must-win. Should the Panthers lose, they'll need to win their final two games against a ranked Rutgers team and South Florida.

UConn is arguably the worst team in the Big East, but the margin between them and Pitt probably isn't all that far apart. And on the road on a Friday night game, Pitt may have their work cut out for them.

Below are basics when it comes to information on the game.

2012 records: Pitt (4-5) - UConn (3-6)

Date: Friday, November 9th

Time: 8:00 p.m.

Place: Storrs, CT

TV: ESPN2

Winning streak: One (Pitt won the last game)
