US PRESSWIRE

Last week, we mentioned the CBS Sports and the conference's official All Big East college football teams for the 2012 season. This week, it was ESPN.com's turn.

Big East blogger Andrea Adelson released the team and a few Pitt players were recognized. At wide receiver, Devin Street picked up a nod and defensive lineman Aaron Donald made the squad as well.

I was glad to see Street in particular on the team. When the previous two teams were released by CBS Sports and the conference, they left out a Pitt wide receiver, going with DeVante Parker instead. Parker had more touchdowns, but I argued that Street was more productive overall as he had nearly 30 more catches and 200 more receiving yards.

The conference's interception leader, Jason Hendricks, didn't make Adelson's team, though, and I think he deserved to be there. But other than that, hard to say many other Panthers should have made it.
