A few weeks back, I mentioned that Ohio State fullback David Durham was looking elsewhere and transferring from Urban Meyer's program. That move is official now as Durham is headed to Pitt.
Durham will sit out this year
and be eligible to play in 2013. He's already redshirted with the Buckeyes, and NBC Sports says he'll have two years of eligibility left
once he gets on the field..
As I mentioned in the initial article a few weeks ago, Durham was a solid prospect and a three-star recruit. Hard to say for sure with Spring ball not even here yet, but Chryst should definitely have a need for a big fullback.
When Durham was recruited back in 2010, he initially selected Ohio State over West Virginia, Stanford, and others. Wisconsin showed up on his lists, there was probably at least some interest there, but ti doesn't look like he got an offer from them.
