Love following the NBA Draft projections for future years, regardless of how nonsensical it may be. NBADraft.net was one site that had him ranked pretty high and in their 2013 mock draft, they're calling him a top pick.
As of last week, they had him going fifth to Cleveland. Projecting players to go to certain teams that far in advance is beyond ludicrous, since not only is the draft order not set for that season, but it's not even set for this season yet.
I get it - it's really early. And as a Pitt fan, obviously, I hope he sticks around for more than one season. I've gone over this before, but Pitt's 2013-14 team could be an elite one with him on it. But it's exciting to see a future Pitt player potentially become the first lottery pick since this guy.
