Here's yet another preview on Pitt football - this one courtesy of CBS Sports.
I don't agree with everything in it. For example, Dan Mason isn't the key to the defense as the article suggests. Merely having him back is a huge bonus and getting anything from him is incredible to say the least. The other key on defense mentioned is Aaron Donald. Donald may be Pitt's best defensive player, but I think the secondary or the defensive line as a whole is more of a key than Donald, who should perform well regardless of what's going on around him.
For another thing, I don't see Rushel Shell taking a redshirt by any stretch of the imagination - as I've written about a few times when discussing Isaac Bennett's emergence and the running back situation.
Still a decent write-up on Pitt's upcoming football season and it talks a bit about player performances from this spring. Head on over and take a look.
