With no football, it's hard to get regular updates on the team. But Andrea Adelson caught up with Paul Chryst and got a status report on star running back Ray Graham.
Chryst seemed non-committal as to how Graham is doing ... at best:"He’s progressing," Chryst said last month. "Now what that means, I’m not even trying to be tricky about it, you don’t know. But he is making progress and then you get to the point … the more you do are you feeling confident with it? We've had nothing that’s been discouraging."
I'm on the record for saying earlier that Pitt should have strongly considered redshirting sophomore Isaac Bennett. That's looking more and more like an impossibility, though. We're still a few months away from the season beginning, but Graham coming back at 100% right away seems like it might be a bit of a long shot.
