Pitt Places Ten On Athlon All Big East Preseason Teams

Athlon is out with their preseason All Big East teams and the lists were dotted with Pitt players. Ray Graham, Aaron Donald, and Jarred Holley unsurprisingly led the way.

All three players were named to the first team. Holley is a name that hasn't showed up as much this offseason. But I was really impressed with how he played last year, so glad to see him get some recognition.

Pitt players on the second team included Ryan Turnley, Hubie Graham, and Chris Jacobson. Third-teamers were Devin Street, K'Waun Williams, Kevin Harper, and Ronald Jones.

All in all, Pitt tied for third with the ten players as far as preseason recognition goes. South Florida led the way with 14 players and UConn was second with 12 (which probably begs the question of why they rank so poorly in preseason predictions ... but that's another discussion for another time).
