Longtime Pitt writer Paul Zeise is stepping down from the Pitt beat, he announced today. Zeise's son, Elijah (2014 safety prospect from North Allegheny), has been offered a football scholarship by Pitt. Avoiding even the appearance of a conflict of interest in the media world is of paramount importance, so this is an understandable decision.
