Pitt saw two players inducted into the Hall of Fame this summer (Charles LeClaire-US PRESSWIRE)
The Pitt News took a shot at recapping Pitt's summer. It's funny, but despite running this blog, it's amazing how much I've forgotten has happened in the offseason. It's been busy to say the least.
Among the madness, Pitt's basketball team saw a major transfer declared eligible in Trey Zeigler, the Pro Football Hall of Fame inducted two former Panthers into the 2012 class, the frisbee team won a National Championship, and probably most importantly, the university negotiated a release from the Big East to join the ACC in 2013 - a year early.
With two three coaching changes over the last two seasons (no, Keith Patterson doesn't count, folks), the Panthers' offseasons have been pretty busy in 2011 and 2012.
