Tonight, the 2012 College Football season gets under way. I don't care who is playing, it's football...actual competitive football (unlike that preseason NFL stuff that is only watchable because of the mistakes made my replacement officials). With today being such a fantastic day, I am reminded of a quote from one of my favorite movies:
With that being said, we will look at who will be making the play calls on Saturday, how the coaches feel about Tino, what to watch tonight, and more...after the jump.
Calling the plays from down on the field. From the sound of things, offensive coordinator Joe Rudolph will take a back seat in play calling to Paul Chryst.
Going with Tino. Offensive coordinator Joe Rudolph says that Tino Sunseri is more than capable of succeeding, yet still has room for growth.
Week 1, Ready...Go! Athlon Sports takes a look at Week 1 of College Football for the BIG EAST.
Pittsburgh, a power in college football television ratings. Probably a surprise to many, Pittsburgh is rated the 16th best market for college football, better than the Raleigh-Durham area, which has three area teams.
What to watch tonight... Todd Graham makes his Arizona State debut against in-state rival Northern Arizona on tonight. NAU is my 2nd favorite team playing this weekend.
