Lost a bit in the spotlight of today's basketball game was the East-West Shrine game. In it, Ray Graham had an opportunity to showcase some of his skills.
Wearing #12, Graham didn't have a huge day despite having a good week of practices, but he was all over the field. He led the East team in carries with six and he led all running backs on his team with 23 yards (quarterback Collin Klein had 35 yards rushing). Graham also chipped in with a catch for six yards.
It didn't end there for Graham, though. He also returned two kickoffs for 34 yards, helping out on special teams. That was a good thing for him to show since any team drafting him will likely want to get a look at him in that role.
I'm still not sure where he can end up being selected, but his versatility in catching a lot of passes out of the backfield will help him. Glad he got a chance to get back on the field after not playing in the bowl game.
