(Don't) Bet the Farm: Pitt vs. Old Dominion

Jeremy Brevard-USA TODAY Sports

Last week, our writers were decidedly split on the outcome of the Pitt - Virginia Tech game. This week? Not so much.

No one was brave enough to declare that Old Dominion would come out victorious against the Panthers and really, can you blame us? The Monarchs, of course, pose a threat. We saw last year that anything can happen with Youngstown State coming into Heinz Field for the first game of the Paul Chryst era and knocking off the Panthers. Still, with a blowout loss to Maryland and a two-touchdown defeat to East Carolina, we just don't see it happening.

Chalk this one up as a Pitt win, boys and girls. Below are the picks (purely for educational purposes...well, that and to mock us at the end of the season) as well as the season records:

Anson (5-0): Pitt

Jim (5-0): Pitt

Mike (5-0): Pitt

Bryan (4-1): Pitt

Pat (4-1): Pitt

Chris (3-2): Pitt
