It's that time of the year again - college basketball is officially underway and while it's not quite tournament time, there's of course already some looking ahead to the postseason.
ESPN's Joe Lunardi has an early, early look at the NCAAs and took a shot at his first college basketball bracket projections. The good news? He does expect the Panthers to make the tournament. The bad news? He only has them in as a No. 12 seed and in the West region to boot.
And yeah, he's got them against Wichita State again in a rematch from last season, so there's that.
Personally, I expect the Panthers to get into the Big Dance, too. We've been over this before, but there are lots of moving pieces with this team. Several key players from last year's team (Steven Adams, J.J. Moore, Tray Woodall, Trey Zeigler, and Dante Taylor) are all gone and the Panthers are relying on three freshman to play big roles this season. Despite all of that, though, there's still some good talent on this team and there should be enough to get them into the NCAAs.
