Pitt's been a little banged up lately and here are this week's injury notes for the game against North Carolina on Saturday.
On the offensive line, Adam Bisnowaty returned from injury to start against Notre Dame, but Cory King sat out again, giving Ryan Schlieper his fourth straight start at guard. Chryst thought King was making progress last week and said he would do more in practice, but he still wasn't ready to play, apparently.
Staying with the line, backup Juantez Hollins didn't play for the second straight game. Not sure if it's injury related but Chryst mentioned he wasn't an option when Dorian Johnson got his start a few games ago, so take that for what it's worth.
Defensive back Trenton Coles suffered what looked to be a pretty ugly injury in the Notre Dame game and sounds like he'll be out for the game. He got roughed up a bit on a play colliding with a teammate and the determination was that he sustained a concussion.
Linebacker Shane Gordon returned against Notre Dame and looks to be back. Same with K'Waun Williams who bruised his arm before last week's game.
