Going Scouting: Miami

Al Golden is looking to end a three game losing streak - Robert Mayer-USA TODAY Sports

Pitt's finale will renew an old rivalry

Black Friday will see the Pitt Panthers host the Miami Hurricanes at 3:30PM on ABC at Heinz Field. Most Panther fans remember Miami as an annual opponent and have visions of Craig Heyward running wild in a rain storm at old Pitt Stadium. However, the Canes have not been on the schedule much since bolting the Big East for the ACC. So what has Miami been up to this year? Well, you will be able to check them out in a few hours when the Canes take a 7-3 record into their match up with Virginia.

Miami will have their home finale of 2013 today and they are coming off a tough loss at Duke last week. The game will be seen on ESPNU, so most can put the Panthers and Syracuse on Watch ESPN and check out the Canes at the same time. Miami had put the college football world on notice earlier this year with seven straight wins to open the year, but has faltered lately with three consecutive losses and will be looking to right the ship against the offensively challenged Cavaliers.

Will Miami come into Pittsburgh at 8-3 and put an end to their losing streak or will they still be reeling after another loss that no one sees coming? Only one way to find out...tune in to ESPNU at high noon.
