Featured Fanpost: Tony D

Pitt has announced that Tony Dorsett among other All-Americans will be at the Notre Dame game, Saturday. It's highly likely, almost a given, that TD will be recognized on the field. He will certainly receive a standing ovation, but there's a larger issue for welcoming TD back and expressing our gratitude for what he did here.

Dorsett has announced that he has been diagnosed with and is suffering the effects of CTE - chronic traumatic encephalopathy - the incurable brain disease associate with concussions. He has described memory loss and emotional outbursts associated with the disease. Doctors have told him he's clinically depressed. Here's the ESPN Outside The Lines report with a video of Tony.

He deserves our applause as well as our thoughts and prayers.
