Pitt spring game to be shown on ESPN3

Marvin Gentry-USA TODAY Sports

This went a bit under the radar (at least by me), but it was recently announced that ESPN would be covering many of the ACC's spring games on ESPN3. Among those is Pitt's game on April 12th.

This is pretty interesting. If you were on the fence about going before (and as I previously wrote, I think the idea of playing the game in a high school stadium on a Friday night was a bad one), this may keep you home ... particularly if the weather's bad. ESPN2 or ESPNU would have been nicer, but hey, I'll take it.

Not sure about everyone else, but I'll almost assuredly be going with the laptop to TV method rather than attending in person. Like I said in that earlier post, it's just not all that convenient for a lotof people. So the good news is that if you couldn't make it but wanted to watch the game, you've got an outlet to do that now. You can also get a good look at many of the ACC's other football programs on ESPN3 as well on April 13th and April 20th.
