Today, we're kicking off another countdown series. But instead of our own analysis and opinions, we want to hear from you. Each day, we'll have a new question related to the 2013 season and we want your answers in the comments section. There are a total of 40 questions, one for each day leading up to Pitt's opener against Florida State.
Today's question? Will Tom Savage be a better quarterback in 2013 than Tino Sunseri was in 2012? It's no guarantee that Savage is the starter, but based on everything we've seen/heard to this point, it's looking like he's the guy. For that reason, he's the one we're focusing on for now.
It doesn't all come down to stats, but for your perusal, we give you Sunseri's stats last year as you make your decision.
3,288 yards, 65% completion rate, 21 touchdowns, 3 interceptions, 38 sacks taken, passer rating 151.5
