ESPN.com recognizes Aaron Donald snub

Justin K. Aller

On Thursday, I mentioned that Pitt's Aaron Donald was a pretty clear snub for the Preseason All-ACC football team. So it was good to know I wasn't alone in that thought when I saw ESPN.com called Donald slighted as well.

Donald's track record is simply too much to ignore and I still think it's a head-scratcher that he wasn't selected.

As I said before, I'd much rather see Donald's name on the All ACC team at the end of the year than the preseason, but any recognition going into the season is always welcome. Glad that Jason Hendricks made it, but still puzzled by the Donald omission. To be fair, Donald was third on the list, just missing the team by a few votes. Still, to be left off was a big of a surprise.

But as Heather Dinich at ESPN says, the league's media will find out about him soon enough.
