If you're like me, you've not had the chance to get down to Oakland to see the wrestling team in action. That said, you won't have much of an excuse over the next few weeks as you can watch the squad from the comfort of your own home.
Pitt's meet against West Virginia this week won't be shown, but you can catch the Panthers the next two weekends. ESPN3 will broadcast Pitt's meet against the defending ACC champions, Virginia Tech, on February 7th. The following weekend, the Panthers will take on Edinboro on the 14th and Michigan on the 15th and both meets will be shown on ESPN3 as well. We'll talk more about that later, but that's just going to be a huge weekend for the program, taking on two more ranked teams.
In addition, the ACC championships in March will also be on ESPN3.
It's great to get the chance to see some of Pitt's Olympic sports if you don't make it into Oakland. Last year, a few of the baseball games were on ESPN3 and as we mentioned earlier this year, some other sports will also get their chance to shine on Root Sports as well as ESPN3 this year. Good stuff.
