Pitt vs. Miami: Open Gamethread

Long day, huh? After National Signing Day, the Panthers' basketball team now hits the road to take on the Miami Hurricanes tonight.

Pitt had a rough week last week - no denying that, obviously. The Panthers were not only beaten by Duke, but routed as the Blue Devils played perhaps their best game of the year. Pitt then went on to a lackluster offensive performance against Virginia on Sunday and lost their second straight game in a row at home.

The Panthers head down to Miami tonight and while the competition is a bit easier than Pitt has faced recently, it's still a road game in conference ... and those are rarely easy. Miami is a .500-ish team and after losing the bulk of their talent from last year, have fallen near the bottom of the conference. Still, Pitt needs to come out and take care of business. The Hurricanes will get up for the Panthers and a lackluster effort could mean trouble.
