NCAA Tournament Opening / Second Round TV Times: Pitt to play Colorado at 1:40 p.m. on TBS

Bob Donnan-USA TODAY Sports

Admit it - you just knew this would happen:

Seriously, whatever.

No idea what I'll be doing. Will probably try to leave work early, but man, does it ever cease to fail? Pitt always gets early opening games. Even playing Friday would have been better - leave work a little early and get the start on a long weekend. Pretty sure that early afternoon on Thursday is the worst possible time to play.

I don't know that this bodes better or worse for Pitt. Doesn't really matter all that much. You could make the argument that an early game time could benefit Pitt since they're the east coast team and Colorado has a long way to travel, that's fine. But assuming they'll be out here pretty early in advance, I don't think it will be a factor at all.

Either way, though, be ready. if you want to watch the game, it will be on TBS and early in the day. Start preparing your work excuses early for Thursday, friends.
