As best as I can tell, it is mathematically impossible now for us to get one of the top 4 seeds.
This is not necessarily a bad thing, given our dismal performance with the double bye in the past.
Right now, we got the 5 seed, which would bring a game against the winner of the Wake Forrest / Georgia Tech game.
But, it looks like we are gonna have to beat Clemson at Clemson to retain that seed. Otherwise, we would drop to the 6 seed.
If Clemson beats us and we end up tied with them, they win the tie-breaker due to having beaten Duke.
We have NCS at home on Monday, while Clemson plays its remaining three games all at home. Maryland, Miami and then us. If we beat NCS and Clemson loses to either Maryland or Miami, then we are the #5 seed regardless of our game against them.
Our game against them is Saturday at 4 PM.
