Featured Fanpost: Who would win a National Championship at Pitt first, Sean Miller or John Calipari?

Thought I would have some fun since the BB season is now over yet again for Pitt after the second round. Please don't take this the wrong way as I do think Jamie Dixon is a great coach and great for the Pitt program. But after so many years and so many early exits I can't help but wonder what would be if Sean Miller or John Calipari were coaching at Pitt. Both seem to be able to get their teams into the elite 8 far more often than Pitt, both are usually in the top 5 in recruiting classes, both put several players each year into the NBA.

A recruit has to know that when either coach says that their team is competing for national title each year that they mean it and there is a legitimate chance that one of them will actually do it. Both coaches usually get the recruits they need to build their winning teams and have a very good sense of who the one and done players are going to be.

Both coaches play a fairly decent non conference schedule early in the year, which I think leads to playing further into the tourney each march.

So, Who would win at Pitt first? moreover who would come to Pitt first if the job were open? both have ties to Pittsburgh and to Pitt. I'm sure they both have family in PGH as well so moving back would not be a problem for either.

So who would win a NC first, who would win more NC's at Pitt? hard for this guy to say but with all due respect to Jamie Dixon, I'd have to say that Sean or John would win within their first three years at the program.
