Saying tomorrow night's game is a big one for the Pitt Panthers is an understatement to say the least. With the road loss at Wake Forest on Sunday, they can't afford another slip up. A win is needed. It is at The Pete. The Zoo will be ready. Will the Panthers?
Things are tight right now with the Panthers coming in with a 19-11 record and 8-8 in the ACC Conference. Miami comes in at 18-11 and an identical ACC record. A win over Miami would guarantee a .500 conference record and up their seeding in the tournament in Greensboro, which could also go a long way in determining if the Panthers get into the big dance instead of the NIT.
Tip off will be at 8PM tomorrow night and if you live in the Pittsburgh DMA, you can watch it on WTAE-TV. The rest of us will either have to check our local listings to see where the ACC Network is in our channel lineup OR crack out the mobile device to tune in on WatchESPN. Jim Larranaga's Hurricanes are looking for a huge win after tough losses against ranked Louisville and North Carolina recently and will have to do so in front of the Zoo. The Zoo will once again be called upon to light a fire under the Panthers.
With the standings tight and Jim making a move in the Wake Forest game predictions, the top four is as tight as can be with only a couple of selections left in the season. Comment below and let us know if you agree with our unanimous selection of Pitt tomorrow night.
Chris (11-5): Pitt
Jim (11-5): Pitt
Anson (10-6): Pitt
JD (10-6): Pitt
Aron (8-8): Pitt
Stephen (8-8): Pitt
