Pitt Vs. Youngstown State SB Nation Pittsburgh Game Preview

I put together a brief preview for Pitt's game against Youngstown State on SB Nation's regional Pittsburgh site. You can check it out here.

Paul Alexander Out As Pitt Sideline Reporter

Per a statement from Pitt, Paul Alexander will not be Pitt's sideline reporter this season in light of his arrest for suspicion of DUI and accident yesterday. Jeff Hathorn will cover the Youngstown State game, but there is no plan in place after that. We all know who's available...

ESPN's Jared Shanker Thinks Corey Clement Will Decommit From Pitt

Pretty surprising tweet from recruiting analyst Jared Shanker that Pitt RB Corey Clement will likely decommit from Pitt. According to Brett McMurphy of ESPN..."Pittsburgh starting running back Ray Graham is "unlikely to play" in the Panthers' season opener against Youngstown State on Sept. 1."

Kirk Herbstreit picks Pitt to win Big East, Ray Graham as Player of the Year

In his preseason Herbie awards, Herbstreit picked the Panthers to win the conference and Graham as Player of the Year in the conference. He's got a lot of belief in Chryst. Let's hope it plays out this way.

Yesterday, I mentioned a quote from Pitt's Rushel Shell that seemed to indicate he would be open to redshirting this season. Over at SB Nation Pittsburgh, I took a closer look at the issue. Head over and check it out.

That confirms what Pantherlair's Matt Steinbrink tweeted yesterday about Artis not being ready.

2013 Wing Jamel Artis To Decide Between Pitt or La Salle Saturday

Per Will Gunter of 247Sports. My money is on the Baltimore native saying Pitt is it.

Pitt projected as #6 seed in Lunardi's Summer Bracket

Pitt is a 6 seed in Joe Lunardi's post-summer bracket, going up against 11 seed Alabama in Philadelphia, with a potential game against future ACC foe North Carolina in the next round.
