Earlier this week, Aaron Donald won the Nagurski Award as the nation's top defensive player. Yesterday, he was named as the coaches' pick for the ACC Defensive Player of the Year and also won the Lombardi award. But lost in the hoopla a bit was the fact that he was also named to the USA Today All-American First Team.

Donald was one of seven ACC players on the first team and Florida State led the way with four guys, including quarterback Jameis Winston, on the squad as well. The conference also added five players on the second team.

The honors keep on coming for Donald and it's just a reminder for the year he had for Pitt. At 6-6, the season wasn't a great one for the Panthers, but Donald and all the recognition he's gotten since the season ended will make it one fans won't forget for a while despite the mediocre record.
