Phil Steele released his All ACC team preseason picks this week and identified several Pitt players on them.
Defensive tackle Aaron Donald was the sole Panthers representative on the first team.
Wide receiver Devin Street and safety Jason Hendricks made the second team.
No Pitt player made the third team, but offensive lineman Matt Rotheram and linebacker Todd Thomas both made the fourth team.
Looking at it from a Pitt perspective, I think Isaac Bennett could put up some numbers worthy of making one of the teams based on how much the Panthers are expected to run and the lack of depth at the position. JP Holtz could slide on a team as a tight end - again, in part to how much I expect he'll be utilized. Adam Bisnowaty is another guy expected to impress this year on the offensive line, and Lafayette Pitts and/or K'Waun Williams should have a good shot at making a team.
