2013 Lombardi Award Preseason Watch List: Pitt lineman Aaron Donald up for another award

Justin K. Aller

The preseason watch lists keep coming for Pitt defensive lineman Aaron Donald (maybe someone should inform EA Sports that he's supposed to be pretty good). This time, it's the Lombardi Award watch list that Donald appeared on, given to college football's top offensive or defensive lineman (or some linebackers due to some weird rule or something).

Donald has also been named to the watch lists for the Bednarik Award, the Nagurski Trophy, the Ronnie Lott IMPACT Award, and the Outland Trophy.

He has been named All Big East each of the past two seasons and racked up 16 1/2 sacks in those years. He also ranked 12th in the nation last year with 1.54 tackles for loss per game and has 34 1/2 of those over the past two years as well.

In 2013, the Pitt lineman has also been named to preseason All-American teams by Phil Steele and Lindy's publications.
