As if we didn't already know, right?
In case you weren't aware, Pitt's home football schedule for this season is pretty strong. That's been confirmed over and over, but Athlon jumped on board with the slate of the Panthers, recently naming it among the top ten in the nation.
With games against Florida State, Notre Dame, and Miami among others, it's hard to argue. Add in a team like North Carolina that could be ranked at some point this season and those games far outweigh the 'weaker' teams such as Old Dominion, Virginia, and New Mexico.
With those games comes a lot of difficulty, obviously. Plenty of tough tests there for Pitt and if they won four games, that would be reasonable. Five would be exceptional considering the difficult slate.
It will be interesting to see the attendance for the Miami game. It's the last game of the season and if Pitt has suffered miserably, a big crowd for what could be a cold weather game is hardly a guarantee.
