2014 small forward recruit Terry Larrier out of play for Pitt

USA TODAY Sports

Back in May, we wrote about small forward Terry Larrier grabbing a Pitt offer. Larrier, though, doesn't seem like he's headed to the Panthers.

Recently, he cut his list of potential teams to ten and Pitt wasn't on it. Larrier is down to ten programs including Penn State, Marquette, Minnesota, UConn, Florida State, Miami, St. John’s, VCU, Florida and Seton Hall per ZagsBlog.

Larrier's stock has really risen and he's got plenty of choices now. He previously wasn't even rated by Rivals, but is not only a four-star player, but the #38 player overall in the entire class.

Looking at the Panthers' roster, Pitt appears to be in decent shape at small forward with Durand Johnson and Jamel Artis there. If Johnson moves to shooting guard at some point, the position could become one of concern past this season after Lamar Patterson moves on.

Still, it looks like a position that Pitt could recruit.
