Pitt takes on Maryland tonight at the Pete in their first ACC home game. The Panthers come in fresh off of their win against North Carolina State over the weekend and try to start 2-0 in the conference.
My hope is that we don't see Pitt get off to another slow start. Falling behind against North Carolina State by 15 wasn't ideal and even though the Panthers pulled out a win, you just can't do that all the time. I'm not convinced Maryland is a great team, but Pitt needs to come out and play with the intensity they did in the second half of the NC State game. Hitting a few open shots wouldn't hurt, either.
