Pitt vs. Virginia Tech: Open Gamethread

Charles LeClaire-USA TODAY Sports

Pitt takes on Virginia Tech tonight in what is an important game for both teams as they try to remain in the ACC Coastal Division race. Technically, the game may be a little bigger for Pitt as they try to right themselves off of the three-game losing streak, but a loss really hurts both teams.

One of the Panthers' losses is to Virginia and, as I wrote in Monday's preview, a second loss would make it extremely difficult to have any hope of winning the Division. Virginia Tech also has a conference loss, dropping a game to previously unbeaten Georgia Tech.

Game time starts at 7:30 p.m. at Heinz Field tonight. If you're not heading down to the game, be sure to drop in and comment with us live during the contest. In the meantime, as always, leave your pregame thoughts and predictions in the comments section below. Also, check out our game week page for all of our posts leading up to the game.
