Pitt faces Virginia Tech tonight in an important ACC matchup for both teams. Each already has a loss in the conference and a second would be crippling to the Coastal Division hopes of each.
Each defense ranks in the top 25 nationally while each offense has struggled a little. Pitt enters the game on a three-game losing streak while Virginia Tech has won two in a row, most recently, defeating North Carolina. The Panthers dropped their last game on the road against Virginia.
After defeating Virginia Tech in 2012, Pitt lost to the Hokies last year, 19-9.
