Perhaps some Pittsburgh Panthers fan believed that the loss at home against the Iowa Hawkeyes two weekends ago was just a bump in the road. In fact, 65% of all those who participated in the last poll thought as much. However, the team's most recent loss to the Akron Zips, their second straight home defeat, unmoored painful memories from the team's not-too-distant past.
What once was a very promising season, has quickly turned into another mediocre campaign, potentially. It's unfortunate that Pitt arrived at this point before the calendar flipped to October. Now, perhaps you're still holding out hope, and the Panthers certainly has time to change their fortune. But, I am sure there are some fans who are already packing it in for the season, and are waiting for next year.
So, we here at Cardiac Hill would like to know: Are you taking the patient approach and believe that the team still has time to turn it around, or are you already unpacking the chairs, coolers, and grill from your vehicle?
