The Scoop - Boston College enters the year with some new optimism as new coach Jim Christian takes the helm. The Eagles had a disastrous 2014 season, but played well at times and even defeated then #1 Syracuse on the road during the year. They have some pieces to surprise some people this season. Olivier Hanlan is easily the top scorer in the ACC, and will likely have another big statistical year this season. He is joined by some promising wings like Patrick Heckman,  Alex Dragicevich, and Garland Owens. Point Guard,  Lonnie Jackson has been around for some time, and has showed moments throughout his career and perhaps he can be a little more consistent in 2015.  The post game will rely on returnee Eddie Odio. The Eagles will also get Dennis Clifford back from injury and welcome a talented freshman, Idrissa Diallo into the mix.

Final Outlook - Boston College will likely go as far as Hanlan can take them. He has some players around him that need to make some vast improvements if Boston College wants to seriously make a big jump this year.  Guys like Jackson, Dragicevich, and Heckman have all played a lot of basketball through the years, so maybe those guys can piece it all together this season.
