Going Scouting: Miami Hurricanes

Steve Mitchell-USA TODAY Sports

It's been a little while since our last installment of "Going Scouting". That tends to happen from time to time later in the year due to bye weeks happening more and more for opponents and combined with Pitt's bye weeks, it can be a challenge. Today provides our last segment for this season with the regular season finale being upon us for November 29th against the Miami Hurricanes.

Miami will first travel up to the University of Virginia to take on a reeling Cavaliers team, that has not won since taking out Pitt a while back. Fresh off of a nail biting 30-26 loss to undefeated Florida State, the Hurricanes bring in a 6-4 record, but have been on a bit of a roll before last week's loss. They stand at 3-3 in the conference.

As I mentioned, Virginia is falling a bit and now sports a record of 4-6 and 2-4 in the conference. Miami has clinched a bowl berth, but the Cavs will need to do what the Panthers are trying to do and win the last two games to gain bowl eligibility.

The good news is that tonight's game begins at 7:00 p.m. in Charlottesville, VA and is on ESPNU. This means you can tune in right after the Panthers are finished with Syracuse that begins at 3:30 p.m.
