Poll of the Week: Pitt or Miami?

Will the Pittsburgh Panthers prevail in the final game of the regular season?

Charles LeClaire-USA TODAY Sports

The Pittsburgh Panthers (5-6, 3-4) didn't really give fans a whole lot to cheer about once the calendar reached mid-September this season. A 3-0 start was followed by an 0-3 skid. A win against the Virginia Tech Hokies brought back some fond memories from 2002 and 2012, but overall, there's been little to celebrate on a team level.

Unfortunately, Pitt was unable to parlay their victory into more success as they stumbled into another 0-3 stretch. A convincing win against the Syracuse Orange last Saturday has kept the Panthers bowl eligible, and makes their showdown against the Miami Hurricanes (6-5, 3-4) on the road all the more meaningful.

While Miami isn't the powerhouse they've been in previous season, they do take care of business at home. The U has won every single home this season except for a 4-point loss against the Florida State Seminoles two weeks ago. Pitt certainly will have their hands full.

With all that in mind, how do you see the Panthers regular season ending? Will Pitt reach a bowl game or will they flop miserably on the road ending a forgettable season? Weigh in via the poll below.
